We are Rick Gerner (NL) and Johanne Jahncke (DK) and we work as a team. We work with recycled glass and porcelain. Our work is about finding and processing site-specific materials that at 1280 degrees leave a variety of nuances in colours, textures and surfaces. A complex and time-consuming process that starts with an investigative, down-to-earth and tangible collection followed by processing of the selected materials, after which they are translated into a concrete expression created with a mixture of childlike curiosity and scientific rigor. photo: Rasmus Kvist
